Year 4 have been investigating the weight of items in our classroom and comparing them to a 1 kilogram weight. ⚖️
They worked in pairs and predicted their outcomes before carrying out their investigation. 🔎
Lot of the predictions made turned out to be correct, whilst some outcomes were surprising to learn! 🧐
Everyone in Year 4 used wonderful mathematical language such as lighter than, heavier than, scales and balance. They also know that there are 1000 grams in a kilogram and how to use abbreviations such as (kg) and (g)!👏
